Ukrainian born Mezzo-Soprano Nina Alupii-Morton, now resident in the United Kingdom is available for Opera, Oratorio and recitals.
Nina was born in the Ukraine close to the border with Romania and has Moldavian Nationality. She holds diplomas in chorus conducting and opera singing from the University of Chisinau. She has trained at and performed with the Novoselitsa Theatre and the Moldavian National Opera with whom she sang principal roles from 1993 to 2001.Her leading roles include Amneris (Aida), Adalgisa (Norma) Ulrica (Ballo in Maschera), Azuncena (Il Trovatore) and Lola (Cavaleria Rustincana). She moved to the UK in 2001 and lives in Salisbury with her young family. She is a regular principal with White Horse Opera in Devizes and sings as a soloist with companies in the area. Performances have included Handels Messiah, Elgars Sea Pictures and Mahlers Kindertotenlieder.
